All Black

I can't believe after all of this time I have yet to post any of my all black outfits. There's always a hint of darkness in everything I wear, but, most days of the week I'm in black from head to toe with usually one colored accessory to break it up. Typically when I go to a show I try to wear something very low maintenance that doesn't require much fussing, tucking, pulling, etc throughout the night. Since I'm standing for well over three hours, comfort plays a major roll in my outfit decision and it just so happens my most comfortable articles of clothing are black. I have so many talented friends in bands including my boyfriend so I'm guaranteed to attend at least one show per week, which explains my extensive collection of crop tops, thigh highs, skater skirts and small cross body bags. I'm in no way saying that I only wear black to a show or that my go-to outfit choice will work for everyone, just that I like to wear something that I feel comfortable in and won't make three hours of standing any more unbearable than it already is for my brittle bones.

So, this particular night my boyfriend and I were guest listed to see Real Friends and Pentimento in Long Branch. Since I don't typically listen to either of them I wanted to see what they were all about and what better way to do that than watching them live? Both were incredible and definitely exceeded my expectations, if you haven't already you should check them both out!

 Sorry the pictures are a bit grainy, it was getting dark out by the time I was leaving which is another reason I despise the winter.

Since thigh-highs do leave a bit of your leg exposed to the frigid conditions of the winter I usually wear skin colored tights under mine to stay warm so I get a much longer use out of them!
