"I Got My Eyes On You..."

I felt like that Drake song should be playing on loop while I was wearing this dress.

As you all may or may not know, I do most of my shopping online. Partly because I spent 5 years working in the mall so I have little to no desire to fight through crowds of angsty teens and their gang of friends for a shirt at Forever 21. On top of that, you can always find a promo code online and get money back from ebates so why bother leaving your bed, right? I definitely did not become the skilled online shopper I am today on my own. My Mom not only doubles as my photographer, she also happens to be the #1 online shopping queen in all of the land. So, you could imagine that a typical day in our house consists of at least one UPS / FedEx delivery..  some days both.  

My Mom loves to surprise my sister & I with the cool things she finds on the internet so when she gave me the package, I couldn't wait to open it up. Out of the box came this eyeball dress (and one more I'll show you in another post), I instantly fell in love with the pattern. I almost couldn't believe how perfect it fit, too.. especially since most pieces are made for someone 6 inches taller than I am.  As I was trying it on with all of my shoes and accessories I just couldn't bring myself to take it off because I was so in love. Even though I haven't worn it out yet, I still felt that it was blog-post worthy so I could see how you all felt about these crazy pattered pieces that are slowly but surely becoming more popular this season. Since the dress is simple, yet really busy at the same time I toned it down with my half clear white toed pumps I bought recently, they look extremely uncomfortable but surprisingly, they're not.

Since my birthday is coming up in two weeks I've been trying to pre-plan some outfits to wear out for  my festivities and this one is most definitely a candidate, what do you guys think?!
