It's been quite a few days since my last post and with good reason... finals. After receiving my last degree I never thought I would say that dreadful word again, but, here I am another semester into my next. Naturally, all of my final projects were due during one of the busiest weeks of the holiday season which requires me to work somewhere between 45 & 50 hours, so unfortunately, I had to put blogging on the back burner. While in between getting some work done for school and Christmas shopping, I was able to head to the mall to pick up a few things for myself...
My Mom & I, once again, hit the jackpot at Forever 21 and found tons of cute jackets & comfy sweaters. I was searching for a jacket similar to this for quite some time and only came across a few that were more on the expensive side and since I have quite an extensive winter jacket collection, the more inexpensive the better. I definitely was not expecting it to be as soft & warm as it was but to my surprise the quality seemed to be a lot better than the one I had my eye on in Nordstrom so I was extremely pleased with my purchase. Since my outfit was a bit on the casual side for work, I added this gorgeous emerald green, gold and navy blue jeweled necklace to finish it off. I will say that it has become one of my favorite pieces and even though it has quite a bit of color, I have found a lot more outfits to wear it with than I ever would.
